Linkitall (LIA) is seeking an IT Specialist - Tier 1 to provide first-level support across our digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on IT support, cloud administration, AI exposure, and cybersecurity knowledge. LIA is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that links the expertise of human resources with the functionality of leading-edge technology to deliver mission-centric professional services.

  • Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-user support, resolve technical issues, and offer assistance across operating systems, applications, and hardware platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Maintain and monitor network connectivity, performance, and utilization.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and repair software and hardware components within the organization.
  • Support and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365/GCC High environments.
  • Assist with system updates, patching, and software installations.
  • Log and track issues through a CRM or IT ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira).
  • Monitor and support cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including troubleshooting user access and service availability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support AI-enhanced IT operations, such as chatbot systems or automated diagnostics.
  • Support VTC/audio-visual systems and assist with virtual meeting setups.
  • Maintain IT inventory and update hardware/software asset management logs.
  • Update website content and assist in digital communications as needed.
  • Coordinate IT activities, including wireless communications, telephony, security, and mobile technology.
  • Provide input on the annual IT budget and manage procurement records for equipment, software, and subscriptions.
  • Build long-term relationships with vendors and service providers for IT needs.
  • Assist in implementing IT security best practices and contribute to technical security services delivery.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferably with a concentration in Cybersecurity).
  • At least a year of experience in helpdesk support and system administration.
  • Proven experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required).
  • Exposure to AI technologies or systems (e.g., AI chatbots, automation tools) is a strong plus.
  • Basic software development or scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange administration.
  • Familiarity with server environments (Windows Server 2003 and above).
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure, multitask effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
