- Position: Custodian/Janitorial Technician (SCLS)
- Location: Smartsville, CA
- Visa Status: US Citizen

Task Description:
- Office: vacuum carpets; remove cobwebs; empty waste; clean sinks/fixtures; sanitize kitchens/restrooms; mop hard floors; refill soap; wash interior/exterior glass as needed.
- Water‑borne restrooms (Narrows/Joe Miller): sweep; empty receptacles; clean/disinfect basins, toilets and urinals; mop and squeegee floors; stock TP, towels, seat liners; remove webs; clean glass; maintain spare stock in pipe chase; change air fresheners; refill soap; clean nearby drinking fountains; sweep adjacent sidewalks/stairs.
- CXT vault restrooms (Narrows/Rice’s Crossing): sweep interior/exterior; remove webs; clean/disinfect riser and seat; stock TP and seat liners; remove litter within 10‑ft radius; remove stains/graffiti; add vault deodorant as directed; keep waste below liquid level by adding water; clean windows/lights; refill soap.
- Superior monthly: hose building eaves; dust blinds; wash windows; scrub restrooms (walls/tub/shower/sinks/toilets); remove marks on walls/doors; clean light panels; sanitize office phones; water‑borne deep scrub/TSP floors and pipe chases; remove mineral/rust deposits.
- Carpet cleaning (Park Office): move/replace furniture, deep‑clean carpets and chair upholstery using commercial methods; focus on high‑traffic areas.
- Maintain sign‑in/out service logs at each location; submit with monthly invoices; promptly report broken fixtures, graffiti that cannot be removed, or safety issues to COR.
Required Skills/Level of Experience:
- 1+ year janitorial experience (public facilities preferred).
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive between sites.
- Ability to lift 40 lb, climb a 6‑ft ladder, and work safely near waterfront areas.
- Familiarity with EPA‑approved disinfectants; muriatic acid cleaners are prohibited.
- Provide and wear required PPE (uniform shirt with company logo, safety shoes, eye protection, gloves; PFD when directed near water).
- Maintain professional appearance and customer‑service approach with park staff/visitors.
- Pass background/suitability checks if required by the Government.
Tools/Equipment Provided:
- Backpack vacuum, mop/bucket, microfiber cloths, broom/dustpan, squeegee, pump sprayer, hoses/nozzles, step ladder, restroom dispensers, and air‑freshener units; consumables (TP, towels, seat covers, soap, liners).
Work Schedule & Hours:
- Normal cleaning window: start no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and complete by 9:00 a.m. (business days).
- Basic service: Park Office 3×/week (Mon/Wed/Fri). Maintenance Shop, Narrows Water‑borne Restroom, Joe Miller Water‑borne Restroom, Narrows CXT, and Rice’s Crossing CXT — weekly (Wed).
- Summer adders (01 May – 30 Sep): additional Sat/Sun service at Narrows & Joe Miller water‑borne restrooms and Narrows CXT.
- Superior service: 1st Wednesday of each month (deep‑clean tasks per PWS).
- Carpet cleaning: 1st Saturday of April and October (Park Office).
- Emergency call‑outs: as requested by COR; respond within 24 hours (7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. notifications).
